Business Strategy for ADHDers
Hey there, I'm Sky! As an ADHDer I have always been passionate about business and doing things my way. It wasn't until later in my adult years that I finally had the balls to take the leap, ditch the people pleasing, give fear the middle finger and start my own business!
With four kids under five (one with ADHD and Autism) I quit my 9-5 government job, encouraged my husband to do the same and we went all in on creating my own psychology practice.
What started as an idea has now become a 7-figure business, allowing my husband and I to have more time with the kids, holidays, choosing our own hours and has set us up financially in investment property.
Now I want to help you too. Because here's the thing if my ADHD brain can do it, so can yours!
I am here to teach you step by step how to start and grow your business in a way that suits your ADHD brain. It's time to stop doing things the neurotypical way and start doing them your way.
This podcast is the perfect place for you to connect, learn, and see that your ADHD business dreams get to become a reality. So come and hang out and let me share my journey with you!

Together, let's navigate the journey towards managing ADHD and unlocking your full potential.
We want to reclaim our time. So we're going to start saying no to the stuff that no longer serves the life we're trying to create. And we're going to step into fear, step away from the story and start saying yes to the stuff That you've been fucking holding yourself back from.
I am so excited to be finally back talking to you all. Like, it has been a red hot minute. So if you are new to this space, welcome. My focus, instead of just being on broad mental health, I've really kind of niched down a little bit in terms of ADHD. And so, what I want to do every week is answer your questions about ADHD.
Switching gears. Too often in life, we are saying yes to all the things that don't light us up, that don't, I don't know, excite us or fill our passion or serve our values, right? We're saying yes to all the things that serve other people, but not us. Now, here's what I want you to do is I want you to really take some time and I want you to sit down and I want you to get really honest with yourself and I want you to start writing a list.
things that you're going to start saying no to. Maybe it's no to catching up with the friends that you don't want to see every single week. Maybe it's no to helping Betty down the street every single Thursday for four hours, right? Maybe it's no to the job that you're currently in and you're going to look for a new job.
Maybe it's, No to like whatever the people pleasing thing is that you're doing, right? Like start thinking about what doesn't feel like a hell yes. What is feeling like a no, but I'm making it a yes. Write it down, get super fucking clear on it. Right? And then the other list that I want you to write, cause there's two lists.
The second list. is what do I want to start saying yes to? Like if I got rid of the bullshit stories that I'm not good enough or I'm a failure or I can't or there's not enough time or I'm too busy or I just let go of the fucking fear and anxiety, what would I be saying yes to? And I want you to write that list down.
Then what I want you to start doing every single day is picking something from your no list. And something from your yes list and start working on shifting and pivoting and making these really important changes because they guarantee if you want to reset, if you want to change 2023, if you want things to be different, You need to reclaim your time and your time is taken up by doing the things that maybe you don't want to be doing, that don't serve you, that don't serve your family, that don't serve your health, that don't serve your mental health.
Like I could keep going, like we want to reclaim our time. So we're going to start saying no to the stuff that no longer serves the life we're trying to create. And we're going to step into fear, step away from the story and start saying yes to the stuff that you've been fucking holding yourself back from, right?
They're doing it. And let me know, jump in the Facebook group. Let me know if you kind of find yourself kind of wavering and you need a bit of support. You should know by now, if you know me, I will be in your corner. I will support you. I will go fuck. Yes. Do the thing. Right? Reach out. You got this.
